  Looking for a good veterinarian in CT. Hey all. I have two dogs, one adult and one brand new puppy. So basically my experience with vets has been terrible, they seem to be completely incapable or unwilling to answer any questions over the phone ever. Now, I am not asking for diagnosis over the phone or anything, but none seem to even want to talk to me or my girlfriend. "Sorry we can't help you." "Call the poison hotline" (this costs $100+ by the way) "Sorry the veterinarian isn't in today." (this happens A LOT) I could go on, I really just want a reliable, friendly vet's office. Nothing crazy. So does anyone have any recommendations. I live in New Britain by the way.

  If you have an emergency, or need a vet at an odd hour use CVC in West Hartford. http://ctvetcenter.com/ and just use something like their Kensington location for wellness, vaccines, etc.

  I go to the vet on the hartford/west hartford line. http://ctvetcenter.com/ I go to pretty pups and mutts groomer on the berlin trnpike

  CT Vet center 470 Oakwood Ave, West Hartford, CT 06110 (860) 233-8564 Very affordable, always available (they have a 24 hour ER). We see Dr. Hoppy (Hopkinson) and/or Dr. Cox. There's frequently a bit of a wait, though, since they treat emergencies.
