Winnipeg Mental Health Resources Hello there! I'm looking for some resources for my girlfriend to get some mental health help. She currently sees a psychiatrist onceish a month but it's only ever a 5-10 minute conversation where the doctor decides if he needs to change her meds at all. Both of us agree that she requires a bit more (as meds work best with therapy) but we're facing some roadblocks. At this point, she is not able to work because of her MI and for the same reason does not drive and cannot take the bus. I am usually able to drive her to her psych appt. because it's not very often and I have a month of notice. I go to school and have two jobs to support us, but that does not leave me with any time to bring her to weekly appointments. Does anyone know of any services in Winnipeg that are free that provide either in-home therapy or transportation to a MH clinic? Thank you so much in advance!

Have you checked the following? There are also many books (some of which I've bought) that basically seem to have all the ways to deal with MH. They require effort, which is tough when you don't really feel like doing anything. http://www.mooddisordersmanitoba.ca Or http://adam.mb.ca Edit: removed some stuff
Can anyone recommend a therapist for anxiety? Feel weird asking about this, but I think I've come to accept that I've got really bad anxiety issues which are beginning to take a toll on my mental wellbeing and enjoyment of life. Nothing too crazy, but I want to start talking to someone.
Does anyone have any recommendations on a certain place to start? If you found a certain place was beneficial to you? Preferably don't want to break the bank, but I'll pay if the quality is really worth while.
