  http://opticalwarehouse.ca/ is in Bayers Lake, and has cheap glasses with a pretty big selection. Not quite as cheap as online, but much cheaper than most brick and mortar stores. Sometimes you just have to try on a pair to see what they really look like. And they don't do eye exams, so you have to take your prescription with you from elsewhere. But they do have opticians to do your PD for you.
