  Drought resistant landscape ideas and contractors? Hello all, it's that time of year. I moved into a house right at the start of summer and the front and back yards have been horrible looking all summer. I didn't do anything about it because it's just way to hot to be productive. Fall is around the corner, and I need to start having some idea of what to do, or who to ask. Does anyone here know of any resources that would help with identifying what plants would be best?   I went with artificial turf for my front yard and love it! Initially I wanted some kind of dry creek because of turf pricing but apparently the city will give you a pretty decent rebate if you go with water efficient landscaping so I used that to help justify the price to the wife lol! As for contractors http://www.greensidelandscape.com they built a dry creek for my neighbor and was made aware about the rebate while chatting with the contractor. They've got a link at the bottom of the page to inquire about that rebate if I remember correctly. Good luck! Nothing beats a low maintenance lawn that's for sure!
