  Any advice on hostels in the area? I'm going to be coming up there in a few weeks and wanted to see what you guys know about the hostels in the area? Base Camp quoted me at like 35 bucks a night. I could go up to 80 bucks a night to not get bitten by bed bugs or get a cleaner room/shower. Or if anybody knows of any cheap hotels that would offer this then please share any experiences or knowledge you have.

  I love Base Camp Anchorage, I lived there the first 2 weeks I was in Anchorage. Great spot, owner and I are still friends to this day. One of the nicest dudes I know! http://basecampanchorage.com
