I could go up to 80 bucks a night to not get bitten by bed bugs or get a cleaner room/shower. Or if anybody knows of any cheap hotels that would offer this then please share any experiences or knowledge you have.

  I've had a couple of friends stay at the Spenard Hostel, they had no complaints at the time. http://www.alaskahostel.org/index.html Looks like they have decent online reviews. Looks like 33 a night or 22 a night to pitch a tent in their lawn.
