  Reasonably priced vets near campus? I have an older cat who I recently took to get her rabies vaccine. We took her to a PetSmart for cheapness sake but while examining her they mentioned that her teeth look to be in pretty bad shape and it looks like at least one of them needs to be removed. I've been calling around to all the vets in the area but almost no one would give me any kind of ballpark for the cost so I'm having a hard time choosing which vet to take her to. Obviously I want good care for her but I'm also pretty broke, so it's important to find a place that's affordable. Has anyone here had any experience with local vets / know which places might be more affordable that aren't too far away?

  http://vetspecialistsofrochester.com/ Can't say anything about the price, but the multiple pet owners that I know have stated that they're pretty much the only emergency vet in town.
