I realize this is a pretty typical post, however, a lot of what I have seen in terms of bars and clubs seems to be outdated or tourist traps. Just thought I would take a shot and ask.   If the weather is good you should definitely visit a Biergarten. Recommendations depend on where you will be staying. There are many throughout the city. I personally think the one in the „Englische Garten“ next to the „Chinesische Turm“ is nice, however a bit touristy. The biggest Biergarten in Munich is the „Hirschgarten“ (6.500 seats), but it’s also really nice and definitely not a tourist trap. (www.hirschgarten.de).
