  New to the area. Good place for whiskey/cognac/brandies? Got an old pal coming over from Sweden I haven't seen in a long time. Wanted to catch up with him over a nice drink. Any recommendations for a place to go on a bromance date where they have a great selection of scotch/brandy/cognac? I know it sounds high browish, but we did our fair share of dive bars, punk bars, and the whole post college scene back in our heyday. We are working professional engineers engineers now with more money and no kids. Basically, where would those much maligned stuffy professionals go to have a drink that has a good list of the above alcohols? Preferably a place where you have to wear something better than jeans.. I know of Jack Rose,but am looking for something a little quieter.
