My daughter is moving from Bethlehem to Brooklyn.Anyone could recommend a good moving company?

Check the website www.clarkhoward.com and type moving into the search box. He recommends checking moving.org..this is an area that is well-known for scammers. Some companies will move you but hold your things hostage until you pay them more at the end location.
ISO the BEST and MOST AFFORDABLE moving company in Dallas! We need to move a 2 bedroom house, so probably just one large truck load. Any suggestions would be great. I have had horrible experiences with my pervious movers. Thank you in advance :)

moving.org and protectmymove.gov. Make sure your mover is a member of moving.org. Get a BINDING ESTIMATE and never hire a "by the hour" company unless it's just to move a few items. There's no limit to what they can charge you. I've got a million other tips from my awful moving experiences. If you read the tips provided on moving.org and follow them exactly, you will be ahead of the game already! Check out how the companies respond to negative reviews on Angie's List. If they spend more time trying to discredit the customer, rather than trying to resolve the problem, RUN! One negative review should be enough to scare you away.
