Planning a trip out to Sonoma/Napa which wineries should I make sure to visit? It will be my first time in the area and I don't have much wine knowledge. I would like to visit a winery that will give us a tour of the grounds and possibly explain the wine making process along the way. Also, any other must sees for the area would be appreciated. Thanks!

I really like Spring Mountain AVA- Here's my "honorable's" list: [Spring Mountain Vineyards](http://www.springmountainvineyard.com/) [School House Vineyard](http://www.schoolhousevineyard.com/) [Keenan](http://www.keenanwinery.com/) [Smith-Madrone Winery](http://www.smithmadrone.com/) If you want a guided tour- it's going to cost money, that's just the nature of the beast. Pretty much all tastings are charged- but will be waived with purchased wine (2-3 bottles). Some you will have to set up appointments for (all of the above). Spring Mountain Vineyards' grounds are fucking spectacular.
