  Buying a Home - Inspector Recommendations? The offer is accepted and now I have 14 days to schedule the inspection. My realtor has provided me with two people she says are her "top guys," but I'm looking for some unbiased recommendations, if possible. (Her guys' names are M. Germain & J. Vernier. ) I used the inspector my Realtor recommended when I bought my first house 10 years ago, and he totally glazed over major fire damage in the attic and a few other significant problems because he was working with my Realtor to "push it through." Fool me once --- uh -- can't get fooled again. I am super grateful for any insights!
