(For someone with unique circumstances) Hoping y’all could help me out by giving me some recommendations for dentists you know would be more sensitive than others, to my situation (someone dealing with depression/anxiety, etc. who hasn’t come in for a while.) Someone kind who truly cares, and goes the extra mile to be gentle both to your mouth, and your mental state. Looking for someone in any part of Northern VA/DC or even Southern Maryland (if still within reasonable distance, PG county, Charles County etc.)

  I have serious dental-phobia, have panic attacks just making appointments, but this place has helped out a lot. She is super caring, let me come in to meet her and her team before making any appointments, and most importantly prescribes me anti-anxiety medicine for the day before and day of my appointments. And she and her people take their time with me, and listen to me. Like I didn't like one instrument, and they made a note in my chart and they do that part of the cleaning by hand now.
