Cascades Dental. I had major anxiety issues around dentists, so it had been a long time since I'd been to a dentist. Like, a LONG time. When I went in, I needed a bunch of work, but they were nothing but kind to me. Even today, with me being in a better place, they know to tread lightly since it doesn't take much to trigger a panic attack.

Dr. Lebonitte at Dental Associates of Northern Virginia at the Tysons location is a dream (I think he also works out of the Skyline location). Dr. Fox (both senior and junior) are excellent and very sympathetic. They have a main office off of Rolling in Burke and another down Old Keene Mill in Springfield

Not sure if Reston is too far but I had a great experience at http://www.fairfaxoralsurgery.com Went there to have a tooth pulled. My normal dentist couldn't get the job done, too much pain for me and I couldn't physically hold still. So mid-pull she sent me to this place. I kept telling the doctor how much it hurt and how horrible it was when my old dentist even touched my tooth. I thought I would need to be sedated but he actually laughed and said it wouldn't be an issue. Half an hour later I was done and on my way home. They were professional, courteous even though I was a hot mess at the time, and most importantly there was ZERO pain. I'm not sure exactly what services they offer, or what issuance plans they take, but I would recommend them to anyone. To go from one dentist to another sucks but these people were incredible during my rather trying tooth removal experience.

I just had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled at Bright Now! Dental in Herndon with Dr. D last Wednesday. The IV went in and I was knocked out in a minute. An hour later I woke up with four fewer teeth. I'm pretty much feeling back to normal now. None were impacted though. Edit: Not sure if you were asking about getting sedated for all procedures or just certain ones. I had an IV sedation, and even with great insurance, it still cost me a couple hundred bucks for the sedation. Www.dentalplans.com These plans go active within a day or two, and can save a ton of money. I used them years ago when I didn't have insurance. Saved me over a grand on a root canal.

Virginia Dental Solutions is the best! We have been to all of the dentists in the practice and love them all. They have offices in Ashburn and Virginia.
