Looking for help finding transgender therapist/psychologist or wahtever, for HRT? Hello! I live here in Tallahasse, hence why I'm posting here. So... I figured I'd start working on my transition, and I'm thinking the first place to start would be to find a psychologist. Primarily, maybe it sounds rushed, but I want to get the ball rolling on HRT so that I can, well, get it started and taken care of, I guess. I feel like passing will get smoother over time if I've already got the right hormones to lean back on after they've started to have a visible effect...
Does anyone know of a psychologist or the likes I could talk to, in order to start this process? Kinda at a loss here and I dunno where to turn to.
Please, preferably someone who accepts Medicaid. Am physically disabled and cannot afford anything expensive.

I’m not trans, so I can’t give a fully informed opinion on how she does as a therapist for transitions, but I recommend my therapist! She is very trans (and in general, LGBTQ) friendly. She offers referral letters, too. I’m not sure what insurances she takes, but I would definitely recommend giving her a call. https://www.hopeandempathy.com/services
