  Can anyone recommend a doctor/behavioral therapist that is super knowledgeable with ADHD medications?? Our last doctor moved away and she was fantastic. I was very sad and actually cried because she was incredible with us in determining his needs. Since we've been using our pediatrician, who I absolutely love, but she's not as knowledgeable with meds. My son is going through changes again that are affecting his performance in school in a way that it's severely hindering his ability to focus and his grades are slipping. To the point that if we don't get him back on track, he could be held back. He is 8 and I feel it would be devastating to his confidence at this age. He is academically intelligent, we've done all the testing and have had all the meetings necessary up to this point, but his ADHD is preventing him from learning at the pace he needs to be. I feel he might be needing another med change and just wondered if anyone out there can relate and offer some recommendations from personal experience based on having a child that deals with similar issues. It's not enough to just look up a doctor and try them out. I'd love to hear if anyone knows and loves their doctor and can refer someone personally.

  Any recommendations for a child's psychologist or counselor that can assist us with our 4 year old's severe anxiety in rooms with other children? This came out of nowhere two weeks ago and he gets very upset/worked up when we drop him off in rooms with other kids his age(church, bible study, home school class). He is our youngest of 3 and none of the kids have ever experienced this before. Thanks.
