I do Equine Therapy in deal with severe anxiety children all the time.. unfortunately eight-years-old seems to be a very popular age to become severely overcome with anxiety. I have over 12 years experience dealing with children who suffer from anxiety disorders. I will not take the place of a good psychiatrist but I do adjunctive therapy to help boost confidence teach life skills and deal with anxiety and panic. Please let me know if there's anything I can do.

Does anyone know any good therapists in the area that take Medicaid? Thanks!!
Marcie B. replied:
Psychologytoday.com is a good resource to use. Not sure how many are in WF but you can start there
Michelle C. replied:
I agree. Psychologytoday.com is a good resource. You can use this link that has a search set for Wake Forest therapists that take Medicaid. If you see a group provider, it's possible that some therapists in the group take Medicaid and some don't. https://therapists.psychologytoday.com/rms/prof_results.php?sid=1504220935.5252_17858&zipcode=27587&spec=454
