Question from a Canadian living in Michigan. I live in Rochester hills and I'm getting married on Nov 23rd in Shelby township. Being a Canadian, I don't know of a lot of city's hotspots.
I've got about a 2.5 hour window starting at 4pm to take wedding photos before the reception. Does anybody have any suggestions for great looking buildings/restaurants/locations that aren't too far?
Meadowbrook hall wants $1,250 just to take pictures outside the building which is a ridiculous amount for photos.

The Cranbrook Institute is a huge educational and cultural complex in Bloomfield Hills, MI, in the same county as Rochester Hills. They have some beautiful buildings and grounds in there.
