  Found kitten FREE - Middleburg fl Anyone missing a kitten in the alligator area(Belladonna st)? It came up today, couldn't tell if it was male or female, appears to be 2-3months old(approx 3-5lbs if that)weak & sick. He/She is really friendly. Had to move it back in the woods some our dog isn't cat friendly. I hate to leave it but we can't keep it. I don't want this to be someone's missing pet. If no one claims as their pet, anyone know of the places that take animals like this in? Or anyone that would want to take it in? Thanks

  clay county humane society in orange park. 904 276 7729 i have not used them but I got the info from a lady at ayla's acres a no kill animal shelter with a thrift store in st augustine. i am sure she knew for sure lol.

  We are not claiming to be a Vet however, after observing and doing a little research, we feel Rhett's paralysis may not be caused by the ant poison. Anyone out there know a good cost effective Vet to take Rhett in for an X-ray?

  It might be too far for you, but I use Clay County Humane Society Animal Clinic (they aren't exclusive for the humane society, they're open to everyone). They are super affordable and the vets are absolutely great (a lot of them graduated from the UF vet school), I would give them a call and see what they can do for you if you can at (904) 276-7729.

  to go to clay the cat has to weigh at least 4 pounds...appointments were running 2-3 months out....you could make an appointment there for 4-5 months from now ....904-276-7729.... www.clayhumane.org
