  Trustworthy Mechanics and/or Auto Repair Shops So, my car started smoking from under the hood recently, and I'm fairly certain it's going to need some work done. That being said, I have heard from a few people in my department (I'm a student at FSU) that many places in Tallahassee are notorious for overcharging/stiffing students and being generally untrustworthy when it comes to car repair. I'm looking for a mechanic or shop that I can trust. Does anyone know of people or places that I should start? I really need my car and I would hate to pay an arm and a leg when I don't need to.   I absolutely love Pedros. He’s honest and really cares about giving customers high quality service. Last year my fuel line hose came off due to negligence of another mechanic. I received a same day appointment, and my car was repaired by the following morning. Since I know nothing about cars, Pedro spoke with my father to explain my cars issues before proceeding to repair the problem. He’s Amazing!
