Just throwing this out there - I lifted my Jeep - 4" suspension (already had a 3" body). For some crazy reason, the sway bar arm, on one side, is right up against and...
Alex S. replied:
My guess is the lift came with disconnects that allow the sway bar to move laterally compared to the old links. Follow this link for a good write-up. http://4 x4 xplor.com/swaybar-fix.html
Misi T. replied:
Alex Swart yes, the front keeps moving back to one side. I had the bushings (?) Replaced but it didn't help. Thank you, I wasn't aware collars could b installed to keep it in place.

Bryan Webster only very slightly but it appears the tires don't equally line up under the fenders. I'll look into that as well. Thx

That means you will study it. When I say “study,” I mean something more than reading. You should care more about the amount of time you spend in the scriptures than about the amount you read in that time. I see you sometimes reading a few verses, stopping to ponder them, carefully reading the verses again, and praying for understanding, asking questions in your mind, waiting for spiritual impressions, and writing down the impressions and insights that come so you can remember and learn more. Studying in this way, you may not read a lot of chapters or verses in a half hour, but you will be giving place in your heart for the word of God, and He will be speaking to you. Remember Alma’s description of what it feels like: “It beginneth to enlarge my soul; yea, it beginneth to enlighten my understanding, yea, it beginneth to be delicious to me” (Alma 32:28). (Elder D. Hey Thorin Gorski, have you tried Ultimate Image Auto on Crawfordville & Capital Circle? Maybe they would do something? Or McKenzie on Monroe & Perkins, give or take a block? I think there's another one just outside my memory banks but I'll throw it to you when I remember.
Hi friends, I've been experiencing some car trouble and I'm curious if anyone can recommend a local mechanic? My car is currently at PepBoys on Tennessee Street, and...

We've had good experience over time with Maner's Garage off South Monroe; and Perdue's Auto Center on North Monroe near Lake Ella.
I need recommendations for a mechanic in Tally, preferably around Apalachee.
Nicole M. replied:
^I've recently heard things about Action Auto, too.
Elizabeth C. replied:
John and Son's Auto Repair just south of campus worked well for me a few years back.
Amy B. replied:
Guess my mechanic can't help. I had a civic about 8 or 9 years ago, and I always had good luck with Action Auto on Gaines. No word on if their quality has changed over the years since I moved into Volvo-land.
Steve L. replied:
Tommy's is my go-to, just south of the Capitol: https://plus.google.com/116888413243904453116/about?gl=us&hl=en. They've always treated me well and kept my costs down.
Paul S. replied:
Pep Boys on Apalachee has always been fair to us, and they have online coupons.
Alexandra A. replied:
We use Eric at Honest Engines. He is just off Gaines street though. He runs his own shop and has great prices.
Anybody know a good mechanic in town? I need some work done this week on my truck and I hate going to a mechanic without a recommendation.
Sweetsop replied:
Craig at A+ Dealer Alternative off Capital circle, kinda close to Zaxby's. It's behind the mattress store on the lower level. It looks sketchy, but he's really nice and honest.
gurry replied:
Jake's Brakes. I know, Brakes, but he'll fix most anything and is great!

I used to take my old truck to Honest Engines and they were great.

I use Newman's Auto Repair on Capital Circle. They'll tell you what they think for free, and they keep your needs in mind.

Johnston's Autobody.. I've been going to them for about 4 years and I've never had any problem! My dad was a mechanic once and he believes they have some of the most modest prices in town, and they always do an awesome job!
