  Carla Mancilla owns platoon pups. She has a FB page. She has many years experience, works at a local shelter, has helped train guide dogs in the past, prices are great, and her home only has fur-babies which is nice if dogs are shy around little kids.

  My dog has never stayed overnight with Fido's Farm, but she used to go a lot for daycare and they have always been fine with me. They recognize her when she comes and she is always really tired from playing all day. It is a working farm and does not pretend to be anything fancy, so she always comes back dirty, but she is happy there. The only thing I worried about for boarding there was pine shavings in their kennels, but they said most dogs don't have a tendency to eat them (like I was sure mine would, lol). If I'm thinking of the right place, Northwind is right up the street from Fido's...might be worth visiting both to see what you think yourself And of course Platoon Pups is the best, but I think she is pretty booked for a while. Definitely worth checking though!
