Not sure it is joint or nerve or muscle, but it has been nagging him (he's limping) for a couple of weeks now (following a day of walking a long distance with a heavy load). He think it might be a compressed nerve. He sees our family physician on Friday, and hopefully will be referred to PT, but I have been trying to talk him into seeing a chiropractor (sooner). If the chiropractor is gentle (not a heavy duty bone-cruncher) and effective (by testimonial) and inexpensive (covered by insurance) ... I think I can get him to go. Help?

  Hi Joy, My husband and have been seeing Dr. Brian Wussow of Wussow Chiropractic for years. (608) 833-1114. He is located just off the Beltline on Old Sauk Rd in the same strip mall as Wildbirds Unlimited and Walgreens. His gentle, knowledgeable, 'whole body' approach has literally changed the quality of our lives! I have gone from constantly relying on aspirin for and Motrin for headaches and general pain relief of my aching joints, to a more holistic approach of good nutrition and spinal adjustments. The transformation in me has been amazing! I'm not sure what insurance he takes, as I am on a 'wellness' plan. Good luck to your husband.
