Looking for recommendations for a chiropractor in Madison (who accepts Unity/UW-Health insurance) who can treat Rob's sore hip. Not sure it is joint or nerve or muscle,...
Chelsea R. replied:
yeah, Wade Anunson is magnificent!!! but sadly Unity/UW health is not covered (at least mine through my work wasn't). but he did wonders for my pain and really knows his stuff!!!
Donna W. replied:
Ray likes Dr Dewitt (sp?) on Monroe St with Ludke and Storm group. They take Unity!
Lisa M. replied:
My husband goes to a doctor of osteopathy for body pain. Dr Sarah James in Verona UW clinic is awesome.
Kimberley L. replied:
Dr Dave Heitman owner of Intregated Sports and Spine is amazing. Highly recommend him.
Margaret B. replied:
Waunakee chiropractic Dr Paula Lee helped me tremendously!
John U. replied:
Wade Anunson, not sure about insurance. Saw him for 2 mos and no more back pain. Great guy too!
Lori W. replied:
I like Dr Jurgella at LSM on Monroe.
Wendy J. replied:
Joy, Joy, Joy ...do not go to a chiropractor for this - any sports medicine physician or Osteopathic physician will suggest x-ray, mri, and physical therapy and specific strengthening exercises with a physical therapist. I am on this program myself . PS chiropractors are NOT physicians -
Krystal T. replied:
Matt Kingston is a good one. Not sure on the insurance but his office is located on Muir Field by Glass Nickel. Chiropractic Solutions. He has a FB page.
Terese B. replied:
I have Unity/UW and I see Dr. Yellen- Scheuring at Luedtke Storm on Monroe.
Tom W. replied:
I have to second Yelling, or Dr Storm. Stacy Shropshire is also great but not at Storm Ludke. As a side I have used an inversion table with great success for pinched nerves. they cost about as much as 4 chiro visits and each treatment length is up to you from one min to 5-10 min in length. If Rob wants to test it out he is welcome to come over and try mine.
Angela G. replied:
I think Dr. Wendy Wait at Wait Chiropractic is incredible. Professional, super smart and knowledgeable. I know a lot of people in the wellness community see her. I don't know about which insurance covers her though. Hope Rob feels better!
Thomas A. replied:
p.s. Dr Beaudet is as gentle as chiropractic gets.
John W. replied:
I suggest skipping the chiropractor and looking into Dr. Paul Anderson at the UW clinic on Science Drive, a spine specialist.
Sarah F. replied:
Good for your for taking a less invasive first step. My first choice is Ashley nelson, renewed life. She's gentle, positive, effective but doesn't take unity. Brent McNabb at Madison chiro north is also awesome and wonderful and does. Good luck to him.
Any cures or tips for sciatic pain welcome!! Doing everything the chiropractor recommends, but still a pain in the ****! Icing and Advil and walking and NOT sitting as...
Laura B. replied:
Thanks everybody. Along w/ all I've been doing, I've got a couple Rxs to help me through until the nerve quiets down. (P.S. Too bad pot isn't legal here yet!
