Catering/ Food Options for a Housewarming Party I expect to have about 30 or 40 people stop by my house for a housewarming party on Saturday afternoon. I am wondering if anyone can make a recommendation for catering? I literally just bought the house so my budget is like $300 on a credit card. Is there any feasible way to feed that many people?
When I say catering, I mean whatever food I can reasonably serve people that is preferably not pizza. The sub shops I've looked at are way out of my price range and I'm not super familiar with Bakersfield still. Does anyone have any recommendations of people they've used in the past? I would really appreciate any input. Thanks!

$300 for 30-40 people comes out to be $7.5-$10 pre-tax? I don't know how much they charge for official catering, but there's this place that I was introduced to as "that small catering place" that serves a lot of food for pretty low prices called [NV Catering](http://nvcatering.com/). I think it's straddling the limits of your budget depending on how many people you have, but the food is really good and the portions are larger than you would expect for the price.

Taco Truck. Call around and ask for some prices. I'm sure someone here has a suggestion of who to call, I personally have no idea.
