I would almost cancel the party. As a new home owner myself, I have had to pay quite a lot in the first few months of ownership. Things go wrong! Provide yourself with a buffer. A housewarming party can happen in a few more months once that emergency fund is built again.

A liberty alum has started up a new bakery in town, but they also do regular foods for events. De Courer Bake shop. I'd shoot them an email and see what they can do . Supporting new business is always nice.:)

I used Caesars Italian Deli for our wedding and it was soooo yummy! They do sandwisches and meats, or you can do pastas and salads, lots to choose from:)
