  Quality affordable local furniture makers? As anyone who’s shopped for a mid-range couch knows, the market is COMPLETELY flooded with garbage. I’ve seen some quality, fairly affordable independent sofa makers in other parts of California (Monarch Sofas in LA, Funky Furniture in SF) and I’m hoping there might be something similar in the SD area but haven’t found one yet. Can anyone recommend a decent, local custom furniture maker? Ideally under $2500, and prefer mid century modern or contemporary design.
