Cat Vet Recommendations? Obviously gone through Yelp / Google reviews for vets in the area, a lot come highly rated.
Any first hand suggestions or avoidance? I have a cat who needs some dental cleaning work done according to my current vet. (I live out of town, moving to bend at end of month).
Finding a good, trustworthy vet can be a painful / expensive process, so doing my research upfront. Already searched r/bend but only thing I found was a 5 year old post - -
If you have a recommendation, please explain why and if you have any relation with the company.
Thank you!

[http://coloradocatclinic.com/](http://coloradocatclinic.com/) Disclaimer: I don't have a cat and I'm good friends with Kirsten, the owner. That said, she is genuinely passionate about her work and I have lots of friends/family who have taken their cats to her. I've yet to hear anyone with a bad experience.

I had a bad experience with a routine exam at Colorado Cat Clinic that has led to long-term consequences for my poor cat. He's 12 and has been to 8 vets across 3 states and CCC was the only truly negative experience I've ever had. Also, they wanted to charge me $1200 for dental work that Bend Vet completed with no complications for $500. Happy to share specifics privately. I've had good experiences at Bend Veterinary Clinic and Mountain View Animal Hospital in Redmond, who are outstanding with cats.
