  Most jewelers can appraise something for you, I'd recommend [Markman's](https://www.markmansdiamonds.com/). They don't do much from scratch designing but can give some good options. ​ For outright design, you might check [Rick Terry Jewelry designs](http://www.rickterryjewelry.com/) in Farragut. My then fiancée went in for a design consult but it was a rather miserable experience cause they didn't do a great job of what I wanted and I got our wedding rings at Markman's
