Does anyone have a recommendation of a local jewelry store? I have lost a small diamond in my wedding ring set that I need to replace. Any suggestions would be greatly...

TK Wheeler in Oak Ridge. Make sure wherever you take it they do repairs on site. Don't let them send it out. Don't take it to Kay Jewelers unless you never want to see it again. Unfortunately, I have first hand experience with that.
Looking for a Local Jewelry store to design a ring/appraise a piece. No chains.

Not sure about appraisal, but if you're looking for a custom piece, I'd highly recommend ACF in Old City.

Gemstone Designs did great ring design for me. Beautiful fuckin' custom off-the-wall piece.

Had good luck with my wife’s wedding band 14 years ago at Kimball’s. Had to have a custom band made due to a unique engagement ring that we picked out that wasn’t intended to be an engagement ring.

Don't know about appraisals, but I had a custom wedding band made at TK Wheeler in Oak Ridge and they did a great job. I just had a picture of what I wanted and they were able to recreate it.

I will second Gemstone Designs. I used them for my now fiancée's engagement ring. While it wasn't a custom-designed ring, I know they do design custom rings. More importantly the customer service was, and has been, great. They were very responsive and helpful through the process.

Fosters Fine Jewelry, off Kingston. Pamela is amazing! I had a family ring we pulled the stones out of and we set them into a new ring. The appraisal of the family ring was very fair, it matched original appraisal (from an out of state jewler).

I honestly don't know if they're still in business (they've been working on this new website for seems like 10 years and it's been a while since I've needed their services so haven't called them lately), but Daystar in Knoxville TN can do smaller quantities. They are GREAT! Not sure if Jack Enix is still in business in Middlesboro. Haven't been there in a long while. Benny Enix in Tazewell is who I dealt with for years. His mother's name is Polly can't remember his dad's name. They're related to the Middlesboro Enixes. GREAT FAMILY!!
