  I am so frustrated! I have called several child therapists (son has anxiety) and NO ONE is taking new patients. Does anyone know someone who is?? We have Cigna so would like someone who accepts that but will self-pay if necessary. I gave up after calling the list I got last time.... I can't believe people are booked around here.

  We use Brandon Area Psych. Dr. Dincers office. She and her husband are not taking new but we see Dr. Mahoney. My son loves her (most of the time) LOL. She is young, quiet and extremely patient. 813-774-3264 we also use their social groups they set up for boys and girls separate. Would help you a lot!

  I have NOTHING but wonderful things to say about Amanda Wagner. She truly has a gift. We also have Cigna but it is self-pay, $100/one-hour session (worth it.) She is in a group that sits on Bloomingdale Avenue, between Bryan and John Moore tucked off the road...Brandon Area Psychology Associates, LLC. The office number is 774-4264.   Can anyone recommend a child psychologist therapist for a boy if that makes a difference. My son is 10 and going through anxiety with 4th grade. I don't think my insurance covers it either so if you have any recommendations about that as well I would appreciate it. TIA
