  My daughter had braces and we went to Joseph Bleakley at https://www.facebook.com/GCSmiles/ They set up a payment plan over 18 months. She also has follow up appts with no charge. If you have private health cover they may cover some of it. we are with Bupa and they covered $1200 each year

  I would advise getting three quotes to compare. Check what the price actually includes, ie, breakages during treatment, fixed and removable retainers after treatment, if you are getting a qualified orthodontist, not a dentist. The majority of orthodontists including Gold Coast Orthodontists offer interest free low deposit payment plans. It all comes down to who you are comfortable with, what the treatment includes and what you can afford.

  I got my teeth done through Gold Coast Orthodontists in Helensvale Joseph Bleakley is really good and if you have any issues with the braces they can normally see you the same day they cost me around $5000 for top and bottom braces with elastics, but they do payment plans
