Im due to have twins in october. My husband makes to much money so we don't qualify for WIC. But we have a lot of bills (no we cannot cut anything out we need our car, insurence, utilities, and our home! And plenty medical bills) I was wondering if anyone heard of insurence covering some formula or if there was any other assistance available!?

Sign up at similac.com, they send u a welcome package with a bunch of free formula. Plus they give u $5 checks for formula and u get points for using the checks. After so many points, u get a free can of formula. Good luck!
Kimberly S. replied:
If you sign up with enfamil and similac online they will send you coupons and free samples. I got like five tubs of formula in the mail already. Also when you buy formula you scan it in and you can earn more free cans. So that might help.
Erica S. replied:
Enroll directly with enfmail n similac they send you checks n formula samples once a month.

We bought our formula at Costco. It's the same as Similac Sensitive, just different colored package. 1/3 the price.

Does anyone have any of the doctor brown bottles they're giving away or selling really cheap? Our pediatrician recommended them thinking it will help with our baby's acid reflux along with a formula change and I can't really afford to go buy new.

Plus if u go to enfamil.com u can sign up for coupons and they will send u them and they are like 3 that are 5 off a can !!!! It helps tremendously

My baby has acid reflux so bad that he was put on Zantac....I use similac sensitive formula and I set him up for 30 minutes after he eats. It helps a ton! All the dr.brown bottles do is prevent your baby from sucking air. So if your smart about how you use your bottle and burp the baby really well you will be fine :) also the dr.browns bottles doctors get money for recommending them same as recommending formula too. And lastly you have to replace the dr. Brown bottles after so many washes, read the fine print on the care paper that comes with them

Do 18 month olds still drink formula? or is it a personal preference? Does anyone know how many calories they need? I couldn't get an appointment for them with a pediatrician until Nov.6th...

Question from an AllergicChild Reader: I need suggestions. I have a 10 month old boy with severe peanut and dairy allergies, possibly soy, has now come up. We see an allergist in July but im not sure what I can feed my baby. He's living off dairy free soy formula (dr says stick until we know for sure) and dairy/peanut/gluten free pablum but he needs more. I don't have food allergies or know anyone that does until now. im not sure what to do to prevent a reaction besides constantly ask, nor how he can eat. please please help me and my baby understand

my 7 month old already has food allergies and is on similac alimentum for them, does anyone out there know of a website or group and sells this formula cheap???? i have a big eater and how health insurance will not help with the cost!!!! any info would be great!!!! thanks ahead of time too!!!

have you pressed the insurance issue? mine denied it at first with our first child but they reevaluated the situation and with the allergist documentation of allergies and monthly reviews of his growth, they covered it. with my second child, they would not because of various reasons. We too suffered with the $26/can cost and i could not find any places that sold it cheap. I think if you go to similac.com you might be able to purchase it by the case which would average out to a cheaper price in the long run. You might want to call the company and request coupons, but that will only save you a few bucks. Sorry, i am still buying it for my second child and she's 2!
