  Hello! Hubby and I are finally starting to work towards getting our own small hobby farm. We're thinking it might be more affordable to buy land, get a modular home and build a little barn, do fencing, etc. ourselves. We are currently in the Annapolis area, but know we will need to move to another area in order to afford anything. Has anyone done this? What was the process like? Any realtor recommendations? Any recommendations on modular home people? Any other thoughts or advice? Thanks so much!

  http://dertzbaugh.com/ These guys do great work. They renovated our home from a duplex to a single family home–removal and re-supporting of load-bearing wall too. Included was a kitchen and bathroom remodel.
