  I have a question for people who have lived here a while. My husband and I just moved to Aberdeen in march. We are looking for a midwife who will deliver either at a hospital or at a birth center. I know there used to be a midwife clinic here but it closed. Do any of you moms have any suggestions or ideas of midwives in the area?

  Jasmine Allegra Marotta-Jaenecke is the new midwife in Westport. I used Woman Care in Oly 360.456.0555 and they are great. They attend births at St. Pete's hospital, which I highly recommend.

  oh sweet woman - so sorry to hear you are having such a hard time. I'm not in the States right now, but yes, please do call the gals at WomanCare 360-456-0555. We take all kinds of insurance. The providers are all Certified Nurse Midwives, very skilled and extremely supportive of almost all women's health issues. As ARNPs they can also manage a lot of conditions. ARNPs can do much of what an OBGYN can. I don't know what your situation is specifically, but it doesn't sound fun at all. Glad you are on your way to a safe and supportive tribe of people.
