  Downtown Austin has a lot of bars, etc but parking is very difficult. I'd keep it in either far south or far north Austin, depending on how close it is to where you are staying. I'd recommend Opal Divine's, either the north location near Parmer and Mopac or the South location off south Lamar. Either one of those have a great beer selection, a big porch for a large group, good food selection, and plenty of parking. I'd lean more towards the north location just because it has more parking and traffic isn't quite as bad up there. Plus Tuesday nights are pint nights at Opal's with all domestic pints being $2.50. http://www.opaldivines.com/
