  http://theburgundy.com/ Check out The Burgundy, a B&B in the Marigny. I was in NO last November on vacation coincidently at the same time as Fringe. I stayed at the Burgundy and it was walking distance to most Fringe venues. Carl, the host, is a lovely gentleman. I think I spent less than $100 a night.
