  Yes we rented a car one of the times esp. if you plan to do Sea World, Balboa Park and more. Coronado Island is cool esp. if you want to see the hotel. It's quite famous. That's where the rich peope stay..lol. We were actually talking about going back the end of this year. Balboa Park alone can take a few days and there are numerous museums & gardens just in the park. There is also the Wild Animal Park where we took a safari ride up close & personal. We got to see a baby gazelle type creature give birth & feed the giraffes! www.historictours.com was the trolley we took too
