  Quirky Apparel Fabric I am looking for a place to buy interesting/quirky/creatively patterned apparel fabric. Along the lines of ModCloth or Ms. Frizzle. I have looked at what Google tells me are the "best" online fabric shops but I haven't had much luck. Any recommendations?

  Most of the quirky fabric that Modcloth uses is just standard quilting cottons. There are tons of places online to look for fun cotton fabrics. I really like [Hawthorne Threads](http://www.hawthornethreads.com/) and [Bug Fabric](https://www.bugfabric.com/). There are also a lot of sellers on etsy who have great fabrics, especially if you are looking for some cute Japanese prints that are hard to find elsewhere. If there's a particular theme you are looking for in a print, we could probably help find something more specific.

  I purchase a lot of my fabric from Joann's (tons of coupons), www.hawthornethreads.com (awesome sale section), www.fabric.com, www.spoonflower.com (you can have them print your own patterns, but they are on the pricey side@15.99/yd & 19.99/yd), www.connectingthreads.com, www.fabricworm.com I'll try to think of a few others for you.

I checked Etsy and couldn't even find a shop that had all of the prints, and most other online shops have a half yard minimum (I only probably need another fat eighth bundle but would be willing to buy FQs).

  I ordered the rest of mine from Fabric.com--they have almost all of the colors of the Tile Pile print, except the green, which seems to be sold out everywhere. The large scale prints are in stock at Hawthornethreads.com. Both shops have a 1/2 minimum, though, so I'm not sure if that's very helpful. These prints sure sold out fast everywhere!
