  Morning all! My father (also a Brookhaven resident... 34 years) is looking for a general contractor. We have a large upstairs bathroom to finish (at stud phase now) as well as an entire first level including a kitchen, smaller bath, 3 other rooms and replace old plumbing (not in code). The catch is my father is pretty handy, just unable to tackle large jobs, structural, plumbing etc. So I'm looking for a contractor who is willing to work with my ocd planning/small-job doing family, during a large scale renovation. I'd love it if you have personal experience or references to support any recommendations. Thank you in advance, and sorry if I've committed any posting faux pas.

  I have a finished basement already, but with my family getting bigger I need more bedrooms. I am looking for someone to make me two bedrooms with small closets, a new floating floor for the whole basement which won't get damaged if I get some water in the basement. I need two egress windows one for each room. And I have a French drain but have a spring under my house in which we get too much water so I need something to stop that water from going into my basement. I already got one quote but looking for others as well.
