  Advice/recommendations wanted: how do you file your taxes (online program, accountant, local tax preparer, yourself)? Looking for a reasonably priced/ accurate way to file fairly simple taxes. We own a home, have two incomes and retirement accounts, I'm a teacher and student loan debt. Last year we were not able to itemize because we bought our house mid year and have an awesome interest rate. Just looking to maximize savings/deductions and have it done correctly.   The year I went in to H&R Block here, I paid over $200 just to have the paperwork prepared. I now do H& Rblock.com (it walks you through it step by step, has 3 levels of assistance available) and e-file both state and federalfor $15.
