  Mr. Beck, for you family member with epilepsy-if he/she has failed 3 or more meds it would be better for him/her to seek treatment at a level 4 Epilpesy Center. The treatment options are greater and can handle surgical options if your family is in need of this. For education on treatment options and general education regarding Epilepsy I would suggest epilepsy.com the website is a medically sound for the public. Note on marijuanna use-From our annual America Epilepsy Society' annual meeting last month the research still is not there to prove whether medical marijuana is effective or not. I wish your family member well.

  Oh my God someone please help me. Mark has been on seizure meds for 5 wks. First one Kepra made him walk and act like he was 90 yrs old. Lamiktal at 50 mg is ok but when he titrates up 75 mg he is a complete mess...Does anyone know of a good ole medication to help my love??? And please include mgs and how many times a day. ..please and Thank you I need all options opinions and optimism will be gratefully appreciated. .Anyone know a good Neurologist? ?
