Daughter needs to know: "Does anyone have an inside scoop on Montage dog boarding?"
Rachel M. replied:
Thanks Marilyn! Bob, I live here in Battle Ground and have a licensed, bonded, and insured pet sitting business: Daily Paws Pet Care. I can care for your pets in your own home where they'll be the most comfortable and avoid the stress of a kennel. (Even great kennels are stressful to dogs just by their very nature...) Please feel free to give me a call: 360-624-8777

Susie's Country Inn is booked for the weekend we need. Can anyone recommend a good place to board a puppy who's never been away from home before?
Rachel M. replied:
Thanks Stephanie! I appreciate the tag but I specialize primarily in pet sitting at the client's home where the pets are usually a bit more comfy and relaxed. This isn't usually a good fit for a puppy though with their specific needs... :) www.dailypawspetcare.com
Does anyone have a recommendation for a dog boarding place? I heard Susies country Inn is awesome but they are booked for the time I'm looking for at the end if the month.

Hi BG friends, I just moved here over the summer and need to get my dog established with a new veterinarian. Who do you recommend who also has good rates? I know there is the animal hospital on the west side of town, are they good?
Rachel M. replied:
I have a pet sitting business here in BG and have had wonderful communication and customer service at Alder Creek when a dog I was watching came down with salmon poisoning (was fed salmon before coming to my house for boarding). They were great through the whole experience and saved the dog's life. That being said, I also work at the Humane Society in Vancouver and get a discount for my own pets at VCA Battle Ground and have been happy with them as well. www.dailypawspetcare.com
I know I seen something on this a while back, but it will take me all day to scroll through and find it... So any recommendations for a good boarding facility for dogs? I have two little ones that we rescued a couple of years ago that have finally come out of their shell. I don't want to traumatized them any more than they have been- they spent the first years of their lives in a crate. Recommendations?
