Even if "you knew someone" they would only be able to extend to you about $10 off per day. Obviously your best bet is to rent a van from enterprise. They generally have the best rates. I always get them ans negotiate with them and I've gotten premium town & country for about $59 per day but they're usually $70+per day. This is the minimum rate you'll find and nothing less especially for a weekend rate. Obviously a 7 passenger SUV is going to run you significantly much more which is pretty obvious you're not going looking to spend..
Any recommendations for sites to get deals on car rentals? Specifically looking at Halifax for about 10 days around labour day.

I don't know about Halifax, but most places we have travelled, we found that it's about half the cost if you rent a car away from the airport. A short taxi ride to another car rental site can save you hundreds of dollars, and usually you can return it to the airport for no additional fee. If you are a Costco member, they have a code for cheaper rentals too.

Another idea would be not to rent a car until you have finished in Halifax, and then just rent for the rest of your Nova Scotia travels, if that's what you're doing. You certainly are travelling in peak season though, so prices will be high.
Hello! Looking for suggestions on who to rent a car through in Calgary. I only need it for a few hours but need the following:
1. Be able to go to the airport and then go back and drop vehicle up
2. I'm under 25
3 . I need insurance
Thanks :)
Good morning! ☀️
I need to get out of the city for tonight and I have to rent a car to do so (vehicle needs repairs atm and I don't want to take it on the highway). Could anyone help with suggestions for the least expensive car rentals in winnipeg? TIA!!
