  Desoto is a cool place to stay and you can't beat the Log Cabin's Prime rib. If you go to the Desoto though try to talk them down on price. If there isn't a festival or something else going on they will usually come down on there price.

  The "locals" eat at the Log Cabin on the main drag. It would remind you of Charlies Supper Club.
