  Can anyone recommend a spa hotel within an hour or two from Manchester? Due to 'the current situation' among other things, we're binning off our holiday abroad but the wife still has to take her 2 weeks leave. I feel she's getting a bit burnt out as work is crazy so thought it'd be nice to treat her to a night or two in a spa hotel. We've never done it before and know nothing about them, so wondered if anyone had any recommendations? Price is not a huge concern but would like to get my money's worth at the same time and would like it to feel a little bit special if possible.
