  Try Dr Nina, http://www.kidz-teeth.com . Different situation to yours, my son was apprehensive and needed an X-ray (aged 4 at the time), they were fabulous, great technique with video to watch, and little 'present' afterwards.

  The kids tooth company in Takapuna are great. We went there then referral to kidz teeth in meadow bank. My 2 year old wasn't scared of the dentist- just needed specialist care. Both are totally child focused, great staff.

  We have been told by the school dentist that our 7 year old daughter needs to see an Orthodontist due to overcrowding. Does anyone know someone who is good with kids, does great work and doesn't charge the earth (not asking for much am I?? Lol)

  I go to kids-teeth in medowbank. They are the only paediatric dentists in the Auckland area and although not cheap, worth every penny! www.kidz-teeth.com they have been brilliant for my son who was born without enamel on his molars (pregnancy complications) not even 1 filling and over 6 yr old now.
