  Hey guys, I need your help !!! Does anyone know of a shelter for homeless vets? I have tried a few numbers but I am coming up empty. There is a man who is currently doing some yard work for me to get some money (he refused a handout) he is a homeless vet living in a tunnel right now. He is older and I feel so bad that he sacrificed so much for this country and now lives in a tunnel. I will give him food and water today but I really want to find a place for him. Any suggestions? He does get a small retirement each month so maybe even a room rental??? He is in the Devore area ....

  Hey Noretta... Our department just started a program called HOPE. Its a program to help homeless get shelter. We have two deputies assigned to , and have the means of getting them shelter and help through the Mental Health Department, which pays for it. Call (909) 387-3545, ask for Deputy Jones, he will be able to help you with it. Its called Operation HOPE.
