Can anyone recommend a Crossfit gym? I'm a big runner, snowboarder, hiker, and occasional rock climber. I also play recreational sports like Volleyball, Softball, and Dodgeball. I'm looking for a gym that will keep me more agile than build pure strength or muscle.
I was previously a member at Movement, but recently I've only been going for the Circuit and Core workout classes. I enjoy the dynamic feel of the Circuit class and want something more along these lines with the benefit of a dedicated Crossfit gym (more targeted workouts, personal trainer, etc.).
I'm NOT looking for a gym where I'll be encouraged to purely Olympic lift every day instead of dynamic running or cardio. NOT looking for a gym where Olympic lifting for the sake of Olympic lifting is encouraged even if form is terrible and the strength is not there. A day or two of pure weights is ok but definitely looking to stay fast and fit for sports and activities.
Thanks!
