On the surface he seemed like a well qualified, thorough inspector, in fact we used him for two homes as our first fell through. The problem that was first apparent is that he charged us for a much much bigger home size then the house actually way. Over 700 square feet difference. He stated that it was because of the listing and what the owner stated offered a refund and when I requested it never responded. Second and probably most important were the house flaws that he either ignored or didn't check to begin with. It states on his website that he checks the AC and electrical but our system was non functional when we turned it on to cool a month later. When we had to call out the repair man to REPLACE our system he went to our fuse box and was completely dismayed at how the box was wired. Apparently one of the big wires had been overridden and if it had surged our home would have gone up in smoke. Luckily he was able to fix it for us. There were a couple other issues too but I suppose they could be debatable as to his negligence. I recommend finding someone who will at the very least follow through with his offering of refunds and not overlook the entire fuse box. (there was a gaping whole in the wall adjacent to it as well. )
